ARTISTS STATEMENT

It's taken me many years to feel confident and accepting of my body shape and being nude. For so long I had this program running that I had to be bone thin to be beautiful, that I had to be hairless and wear lots of make-up. That I had to please another rather than myself. This has shifted quite rapidly since learning about myself and my body through my sexuality and sensuality. I have learnt that I am the only responsible for my orgasms, for my pleasure. So now, I take full responsibility. I give myself time in front of the mirror, gazing at my sex. I feel my body and all its features with a curious and loving touch. I dance with my body. I connect with my womb and my cervix. My self pleasure practice is about opening myself up to deeper and more fulfilling orgasms. The deeper I journey with myself, the deeper my relationships seem to be. It's a beautiful and empowering journey.
