ARTISTS STATEMENT

I look at my body like it's a home, one that I can decorate and adorn in the same way you would a house, to make it feel more comfortable. Ultimately I've strived to feel at home in my body, with time and assessing the ways I've internalised the things I've been taught - that the naked body is taboo etc. I've felt like it's an ongoing journey in finding a peace within your body. Seeing the beauty in the multitudes of different bodies, reinventing the dominant views on our bodies - I find this journey important and beautiful!
