ARTISTS STATEMENT

This is my second attempt at ishotmyself. The first time, I think I felt a lot less comfortable with my nudity and conveying my sexuality. This shyness came through as I sort of hid in my photos, and ultimately, they didn't make it to the site. 7 months later, I decided to take another stab at it. I didn't expect how drastically different I'd feel this time around. I was actually really feeling myself haha - I loved how my photos turned out and the creative aspect of curating my shoot. It was really nice to see how the self work and love I've been practicing has come through in a big way during the process.
