ARTISTS STATEMENT

Being naked has never really been a big deal for me. Growing up my mother would always encourage me to love myself at 110%. However, in my early adulthood I'm consistently comparing myself and my body to others through platforms of social media and I feel like I truly can't escape it. I chose to shoot myself to break down these walls of comparison and see my body in a whole new positive perspective. Ishotmyself was truly an eye opening experience and I now have a whole new appreciation for my physical body.
