ARTISTS STATEMENT

I chose to do the project because I like that it gave me a sense of control over my own nudity and artistic representation of myself. I think it's vital in life to learn compassion and love, especially for ourselves. We learn this through exploration and understanding. I think projects like this have allowed me to be vulnerable and exposed to my own self judgement. This has helped me learn about my flaws, my strengths and ultimately empower me.
