ARTISTS STATEMENT
I haven't always been confident in my body - as a child and teenager I was made to feel insecure about the paleness of my skin, my body hair, even the colour of the hair on my head! Kids can be mean, and teenagers can be insecure and brainwashed about what 'beautiful' and 'normal' is. Over time I have learnt to really love the body I'm in, but I think it was only in the past 12 months that I've really grown comfortable being myself. I started wearing less makeup and growing out my body hair and it's been transformative in how I see myself. I've never had an issue with nudity necessarily but the confidence I've gained with a "fuck you" attitude has made me now love being naked! It is incredibly freeing when you love your body exactly how it is.

ARTIST PROFILE
birthplace: Sydney, Australia
currently living in: Melbourne
occupation: VM + hospitality
age: 22
relationship status: Open
starsign: Capricorn (Scorpio rising)
biggest passion in my life: Connecting with others, closely followed by photographing people and my surroundings
I like to listen to: Techno, house and disco when I'm dancing, I have a soft spot for jazz and soul music though
I like to watch: The sky
I like to smell: Like my new favourite perfume - Sexy Ruby by Michael Kors
I like to taste: The lips of a lover. Or a delicious meal
I like to feel: Confident and sexual. Fresh sheets and a partner's body against mine
favourite part of my body: My breasts - when I was younger I hated that they were small but now I like the curves and shape and am super thankful for small breasts!
favourite part of someone else's body: It definitely depends on the person, but I do have a thing about when a male has long, slender hands. It really turns me on. But so do the eyes. And the uniqueness of one's genitals
Why i shot myself: To have a new experience; to express my confidence in my body and love of the female form.
who I'd least like to see shoot themselves: Nobody - everyone is beautiful and unique in their own way and we should all have the opportunity to celebrate our bodies
who I'd most like to see shoot themselves: Anyone and everyone, but definitely more minorities - people with disabilities, POCs, trans people. Everyone deserves to be celebrated and feel amazing and confident in their own body
my website/fav website: Anything I can gather inspiration from! Too many photographers websites to mention
Most outrageous thing I have done: Sneak into a closed botanical garden at two in the morning and had sex with a French man I met hours before
Bands I like: Van Morrison, Fleetwood Mac, Amy Winehouse, Sampha, Floating Points, Ben Howard
Books I like: You Are A Badass by Jen Sincero - it changed my perspective on life
Films I like: I don't watch a lot of movies! I'm that person who when asked "have you seen so and so" there is a 90% chance I haven't seen it. I want to work on that
