ARTISTS STATEMENT

I have always been the same size, sometimes a little softer than I'd like but it is only now that I am a little bit older that I am happy in my body. I have thick legs, a big bum and a small waist. Some people would describe that as nearly the ideal body. However as a teenager and young lady I was so paranoid of my legs, I would wear black tights with all my dresses, skirts, shorts because I was obsessed with the cellulite (lack of at 16 now I deffo have it) on the back of my thigh. It was constantly on my mind my bum is too big, I look disgusting. It's particularly sad as so many women have the same thoughts and they are ridiculous thoughts. Honestly I can't pin point the moment I felt "Yep I'm sexy I love my body". I think the past year has really helped. Meeting new people and hearing their body issues, sharing experiences. I can confidently say I love my body! I accept my body with dry skin, oily skin, cellulite, bloated, any shape it decides to take. It's mine :)

I like to watch: Anything with Kate Hudson, TV programs like New Girl, The Bachelor, easy to watch
I like to smell: Freshly cut grass on a spring day, it's so good for the soul
I like to taste: CHOCOLATE. I'm an absolute chocoholic, I cannot go a day without chocolate
I like to feel: HAPPY....even when life is being very mean, thinking about the positives always wins the mind over
favourite part of my body: My back. I have a tattoo on the top of my back I got in Thailand 7 years ago and it has beautified my back
favourite part of someone else's body: Legs, I have really short legs, so I always appreciate ladies with long pins

who I'd least like to see shoot themselves: No one, everyone's FAB!!!!
who I'd most like to see shoot themselves: My Friends. They are all gorgeous, strong, smart women. They think I'm crazy for doing this but my god if I got the girls to this they would feel even more empowered! GIRL POWER!!!!

Most outrageous thing I have done: This experience is definitely up there. Another was a naked photo shoot in an abandoned waterpark in Vietnam I did with some friends I met travelling. It was an exhilarating experience

Books I like: I'm not much of a reader. I have such a short attention span. I will start though
Films I like: I love romantic films, anything that makes me believe my true love is out there I love. Such a hopeless romantic
