ARTISTS STATEMENT

I'm half German and have always felt that Aussies have a rather conservative view of nudity and the human form. I started nude modelling at 18, because I spent so much time painting nudes. I found that it completely supported me in developing a healthy body image, something which society (or my mother) often tries to tear down. But in the end, it's our own relationship with ourselves that matters. I'm proud and happy to be someone who can feel confident naked and show other people that our bodies are not something to feel shame or fear around. Everyone is beautiful!!
