ARTISTS STATEMENT

Being naked is a time where I figuratively and literally strip myself of all the pressures and expectations I feel I put on myself. The pressures to look or act in a particular way to "fit the mould". Once your clothes, shoes, expectations have been stripped away there is nothing left for another person to use to make assumptions about who you are. A lot of people say it's a time when you're most vulnerable, but I feel most powerful and comfortable when naked. It is a time when you can either be 100% yourself or equally a time where you can be anyone you've ever wanted to be.
