ARTISTS STATEMENT

One of my goals this year was to show myself more radical self-love. This project was actually very challenging in that sense. I actively had to force myself to stop checking every picture, shush-ing that little voice in my head that points out my flaws. It was difficult to be so naked and so raw and tell myself that I am beautiful and sexy enough. Once I became more comfortable and less critical, more open and less controlled, I HAD AN AMAZING TIME WITH MYSELF. I am proud of this (and everyone who has done it) and I feel closer to the parts of myself that I'm still learning to love.
