ARTISTS STATEMENT

I've never really been able to fully achieve complete love for my body, but this project has been a helpful start. I am usually quite uncomfortable being naked but being in my own home and in control of the camera made me feel powerful and in control. My body is the only one I have so I now understand the importance of loving it. I feel proud that I had the courage to take these photos as my most vulnerable self.
