ARTISTS STATEMENT

For myself, I never in a million years imagined doing something like the "IShotMyself" project. I've never been someone to expose myself in such a raw and vulnerable way. I recently lost quite a large amount of weight and found myself looking for a way to celebrate it that was way out of my comfort zone. I was surprised how comfortable I felt after just a few minutes and how much fun I ended up having with the experience. For me, it was exactly what I wanted.
