ARTISTS STATEMENT

I have been taking Burlesque classes since I was 16 years old (and began performing in a Cabaret at 17, where we go topless) so I have been very comfortable with my body and my own sexuality for a very long time. I have never questioned anything about myself in that aspect, and would never devalue a woman because she bares all onstage, or simply likes to dress provocatively. Never shame women for being comfortable in their skin! I will say, though I have been comfortable with my own body for a long time, when it comes to adding someone else it would get a lot more challenging for me! I thought I was so comfortable with my sexuality, but with another person, all of a sudden I wouldn't know what to do with my hands. It's all about self-discovery! I am open to more because I want to discover these things about myself :)

I like to smell: Chai Lattes on a brisk day, with the cinnamon spice on top (especially in the fall)
I like to taste: Chai Lattes (I'm obsessssed) when I need a pick-me-up during the day
I like to feel: Energized and excited for the day ahead; even if I need coffee to help me along... ;)
favourite part of my body: All of it. Perhaps my torso in general, but I love my entire body
favourite part of someone else's body: Legs. It is how we support ourselves, and each person carries themselves differently.
Why i shot myself: To test myself with photography angles and to celebrate my body!
who I'd most like to see shoot themselves: An artist - anyone who is confident and bold
my website/fav website: What is this, the 2000's? Everything is an app now! But I probably visit Facebook the most...?
Most outrageous thing I have done: Traveled to Australia by myself!
Bands I like: The only band I listen to regularly is the White Stripes! Could listen to their albums all day.
Books I like: I love to read auto-biography or informational kinds of books. Otherwise, Stephen King is my favourite author.
Films I like: Anything Disney, Tim Burton, or musical movies from the 30's-40's :)
