ARTISTS STATEMENT

I've never done anything like 'Ishotmyself' before so it was kind of exciting for me. I'm generally a pretty self-conscious person so I liked the idea of pushing my own boundaries in a way that was creative and fun. After the shoot I felt a sense of confidence and liberation and pride/satisfaction. I really liked the idea of combining my creative side with something that explores myself and my own sexuality the way that this project does.
