ARTISTS STATEMENT

I've never been one who's hugely confident with my body. I used to scratch and tear at my skin when I was frustrated with no regard to how it would look after which would leave marks and bleed. It was a while before I was able to look at myself in the mirror with pride. It took a lot of guile to work up the courage to let others see what I'd spent a lot of time hating so this shoot was a sort of final hurrah to the start of loving my body.
