ARTISTS STATEMENT

I've always been self conscious about my body. Not so much that I always had to cover myself head to toe in clothing but enough that I was always the one in a T-shirt and shorts at the beach. Since doing this shoot I've realised that I am beautiful and everyone else is in their own particular way. Even though I've been self concious of my body I've always been a very open, optimistic girl. I came out to my family as bisexual with no hesitation about if they would accept me or not and it hasn't changed a thing, they just smiled, nodded and continued to love me as who I was. The same happened with my boyfriend, although he was a little worried that he would have to watch out for me twice as much. (Jokingly he told me we could check out chicks together). I've grown so much because of my accepting family and supportive friends knowing that no matter what I do or who I become they will always be there for me. I feel so lucky to have these people around me who are there for me through thick and thin.

Why i shot myself: Sounded like a lot of fun and it really helped me overcome my issues about body image
who I'd least like to see shoot themselves: Donald Trump. His words alone scar us, just imagine if he was naked!
who I'd most like to see shoot themselves: My best friend. She would love to do something like this!
