ARTISTS STATEMENT

I have always been very comfortable in my own skin but it's something I've never explored before. When I found out about I Shot Myself I was so keen to jump on board. This was my chance to explore my naked identity in such a simple and raw way that I'd never thought of before. Women are constantly comparing themselves to other women and think we should look a certain way, but that's not right and this project explores the bodies of so many different women, that maybe one day women won't judge themselves and others so harshly. Can you remember who you were before the world told you who you should be?
