ARTISTS STATEMENT

If a few months ago someone had told me that I would be taking photos of myself naked, I would have laughed. I can't describe myself as a self-confident person. I've never appreciated my body. Not being confident becomes an issue when you sleep with someone. Most of the time I sleep with someone, I want the light to be off because I don't want the other person to see my physical flaws. I became conscious of this feeling and I decided it was time to move on. I found ISM and after reading what their project were, I decided to try this experience, hoping it would have helped me to be more confident.
