ARTISTS STATEMENT

I have always been in touch with my body through art. I took a full body cast of myself and displayed it in a Melbourne art gallery. Now, I called THAT public nudity! My body was there for everyone to see! With I Shot Myself, I suppose I wanted to take it all a step further. I started out taking the photos indoors, but that was a bit boring, I'd done it all before. So, I went outside where I was excited that people could see what I was doing. My fiance and I have never fucked so much in the space of three days before.
