I grew up always feeling that I had to conform to some warped sense of beauty. Only in the past year or so, have I finally not sought the approval of others, regarding my body. Since this chance has come about, I have learned to accept myself, my curves, my 'flaws', and all the things that are considered unattractive in much of mainstream society. This new-found confidence has made others uncomfortable, but I am finally happy with me.
