ARTISTS STATEMENT

This is my first time nude modeling, and as a feminist woman with body issues, I found it to be a surprisingly empowering experience. I hope more women of all shapes, sizes, colors, and backgrounds discover that photographing themselves is a beautiful way to begin the lifelong process of self-and-body-reclamation and celebration. I'm looking forward to incorporating nude self-photography into my already developing work as a musician, writer, and visual artist.
