ARTISTS STATEMENT

I'm a fairly shy person in social situations. I consider myself a bit of a loner. Fame has never been my main objective. I love to escape through artistic endeavors such as painting and sculpture. My art is all about the human form and how it can reflect it's environment. I like my art to be aesthetically pleasing, especially when working with the female form. I often use myself as a subject to paint, when I'm artistically blocked... That is why I decided to take up this project. My objective was to capture myself in a flattering light, so I could feel liberated and unique in my artistic expression. It's been a long time since I've used my body for art, and never so publically. I've shot myself in a soft sexy fashion and it was lots of fun... So, if the viewer has fun then I've achieved my objective.
