ARTISTS STATEMENT

I decided to participate in project_ISM for self expression and also sexual freedom. I found this to be a fun, very empowering thing to do. I'm not ashamed or embarrassed about my body or that I found this a very sexually expressive type of art. Images in society make people feel they are not good enough or they won't succeed in life unless they have the perfect image. I feel all these images do is make people want to achieve the unachievable. By dong this project I've decided to no longer waste my time trying to achieve an image that is just not me. In doing this, I have celebrated the person I am and also the body I have and the way I want it seen by others. This is a very powerful way to express yourself. I recommend everyone try it because afterwards you are left feeling totally free.
