ARTISTS STATEMENT

ISM particularly appealed to me because I love taking photos of myself and I'm very comfortable with my body. I was a little concerned that the photos might come back and haunt me but as an artist (studying and practising), exploring the idea of self and glamour, facade and vulnerability seemed fitting. I had heaps of fun doing the shoot. I also learned a lot about manipulating and working the digital camera. My only qualm is that I think I did my back in!!
