ARTISTS STATEMENT

I think that everyone should strip down and shoot themselves to really appreciate and celebrate their body. A lot of people just travel through life with either a love/hate relationship with their body, or indifference - like it's just something to travel through life in - like a car. Women especially should get to know and celebrate their differences and their sensuality. Too often they are over-critical, when to another persons eye that 'flaw' is what makes them beautiful. I'm celebrating my body in photographing it - it's something that should be expressed of me and hopefully others will feel inspired to do it too.
