There’s more than a touch of ‘Stage door’ in Naledi’s bathroom safari. With an eye for the pose, the ISM South African beauty brings a sparkle to the doss-house bathroom fixtures with which she poses.

When shooting oneself, the general rule is that there’s nowhere to go but up. It’s like any sort of artistic practice – you learn by doing and you do better each time. Nerea is a case-in-point, and while of course we don’t wish to diminish her first contribution, we do think that this is a pretty amazing follow-up.

Juju weaves her magic from her living room in Seychelles. Not a bad place to start from for this Cancerian girl. We’re in love with her oceans of smile, her lithe contortions and expressions that bounce the mood, island hopping from one great shot to the next.

Continue with Bobby on her journey through the land to which she does and does not belong. Knowing more about the production of something tends to lend itself to a whole new way of viewing that thing, so now might be a time to revisit her ‘wideopenrd’ series.

What’s more fun than surprising a naked Finn in the woods? Why seeing the photos and imagining you’re there of course! This enigmatic Cancerian shows us just what’s in store for those who go to the woods today, in this short but sweet set.

Can’t help it, can’t hide my thoughts, can’t help it, can’t hide these spots.’ Did Mani realise when she made these pictures we’d be singing old Channel 3 songs in the streets? Dear Mani, thankyou for taking us back to our garage punk days of sitting in dirt with beer for breakfast from wherever we’d landed from the night before. If there had been more girls like you around then, we might have stayed there.

This mixed seed of Russian origin and furious past times, shares with us her first daring escapades in a cavalcade of glitter and milk. Latika has inspired all of us here at ISM with her exuberance and what can only be described as a lust for life, grapes, strawberries and cheekiness for subversion.

A day on the green used to mean a whole host of accoutrements; tacky outfit, cowering caddy and a peremptory attitude punctuated with cocky strut. Cali first came to us in up_and_away, now in her return she shows us that coming down to earth is the only way to play the game.

We didn’t laugh until we fell in love. Roughly translated from the original Dutch in Elayne's artist's profile she had hoped that we would laugh, not just smile on looking at her photographs and with that laughter, laugh until we had shared it with the whole world. With smooth skin and soul of a poetess, Elayne has convinced us that mermaids truly are the imaginings of our minds come back to life.

Similar to her first ISM shoot, Chebab drives us to an unknown location before getting her kit off. This time however, the art of undressing takes place outdoors, and in the outback. Chebab describes herself as shy, but certainly she’s not shy to herself and to the camera! We’ll be hanging round the water cooler talking about this one.

On her first stop to world domination, Bailiegh makes her opening move onto the ISM photo gallery. Sure she’s baby-eyed, but that’s no innocent in this anatomically correct photo set. This Tasmanian is getting off the island and into the pages of playboy before year zero is here. So storm the castle and watch this damsel wrestle with the camera in this surprising set.

Love and war: they are perhaps much closer cousins than it may seem. So close, in fact, that sometimes we can’t tell which we’re making. These two, however, make both at the same time, and it’s fierce and flagrant and guerrilla-style.

Miss Heidi makes her ISM debut in a splash of colour. We love to see our girls enjoying the fine arts and their bodies and when the two combine with cheeky grins we see a messy Modigliani emerge! Heck, MissHeidi enjoyed the shoot so much she ran outta batteries!

All great art is about love. Already a talented painter (check out Insight24_7 on Photobucket) and experimental film artist, our latest addition to the ISM fold experiments with the art of self-portrait in the style of the Dutch Renaissance. You can see the love affair with the camera develop with the contrasting nature of light and a good sense of humour, like all good love affairs (check out pic173 for a great double-take)!

Outdoors and adorned, is how we like our ISM contributors. Beads and tattoo’s make a great combination with dramatic lighting on a stormy summers day and Mandy is just the one to show them off. This sexy Swede wears the weather well and turns out to be just the little ray of sunshine we need.
