Green_gem looks so very at home in her forest wonderland that it’s hard to believe she didn’t just sprout right up from the very same ground. And depending on how you look at it, perhaps she did. The sense of peace that her expression suggests makes it seem as though there’s a very special connection taking place in these images.

The burlesque craze has so many incarnations these days, one of which is Betty Mae's take, which is steeped in tradition and an admiration for the era - one that she seems to have stepped right out of. The endearing, lighthearted silliness she loves so much about the original style of burlesque is most definitely present in her adaptation.

We’ve already been exposed to Kaptive Mona’s propensity for the perfect shot, and if anything, it’s even more defined. A simply delectable set.

Jiao absolutely bursts forth from her images, and she’s this close to adding a third dimension to a traditionally two-dimensional medium. We’re not sure whether she approached ISM with an intention to blend in or stand out, but she can’t really help doing the latter.

We’ve been watching Kitkat unfold for years now, and so each piece she submits is steeped more deeply in history (herstory) and cumulative meaning. While this is another chapter to her chronology, it’s also a step forward in her artistic prowess. The greatness she extracts from such confined space is inspiring.

Another set, another hair colour – Persia’s not one to give much stock to ‘roots’ as it were. Unless they belong to her lemon tree. We can’t imagine a colour that wouldn’t look good on her, chromatically adaptable as she has always seemed to be, and we hope to be around her long enough to see every possible hue.

So many of us have hours and hours of footage shot in quite the same way. When you have much openness around you - road, time, shore, sky - everything is worth capturing, but it can be hard to make it unique. Elayne's way of doing so is somewhat unconventional, but it's fine by us. As long as she's remembered to label the tapes.
