Someone asked us today, “What type of women contribute to ISM?” And that made us laugh. Because that’s the beauty of ISM - from hot mamas like Shaggy, taking a moment for themselves amid the hustle, to artsy DIY chicks, all the way through to the staff at HQ, people who shoot for ISM aren’t a type. They’re an entire gender.

"My partner wanted to peek, but I tucked him away inside so that I could experience this for myself with no inhibitions. Looking back on my shoot, I think the pictures look naturalistic and nice, and something to be proud of. If I were to do it again, I'd love to experiment a bit more with props, now that I'm an old hand at it!"

"Danger! I was right near a jetty that was a main thoroughfare. It made the shoot so exciting; I could have been caught at any time. Sand gets into place where it shouldn't, as you can see in some of my pictures. The entire time I was shooting there was this beautiful black swan sitting on the ocean watching me."

"I started my pictures in my garden where I live, but then everyone started looking at me through the windows so I had to leave. I went to a pretty garden in a little park on a nearby street and tried to find a private place, but yes, there were some people walking past who saw me. J'ai commence mes photos dans mon jardin, mais tout le monde commencait a me regarder par la fenetre du coup j'ai du partir. J'ai trouve un joli petit jardin pas tres loin de chez moi mais certaines personnes qui passaiet pouvait me voir."

“Easter is coming up so I thought I'd treat you, and me, to some chocky delight! This shoot was a lot of fun and extremely messy too. I ended up with chocky smeared in all sorts of places. It was a good excuse to munch on some of my favourite chocolates before Easter, and also get my naked groove on for ishotmyself. Happy Easter!"

"This was a journey to acceptance. It was my first - I have never shot myself or had pictures taken of me. So I did it because it's a new thing and why not? It's a really good feeling to be with the earth and the universe - without all of the clothing we have you can feel the breeze on your body.
