“I shot this in the bedroom of my apartment, which has a balcony off of it that is right beside the balcony of the people next door - and they decided to have lunch there, in the middle of my shooting. I froze like a deer when I heard them, realised they weren't going to leave, and just kept on at it. Shooting myself naked with the couple next door literally meters away made it all the more wicked.”

"I was nervous at the start. It was a bit thrilling really in the end. It was funny seeing men drive past and double take at the naked lady in the car. I didn't think being naked in public would be a turn-on at first, but it ended up being quite sexy. To be watched was fascinating."

One of our favorite bits in this video is when Lady Goddess slides her dress off with her back to us - but in the mirror, we can see her looking at her own face, smiling at what she sees. Those moments of happy self-recognition form the basic philosophy of what we do, as Lady Goddess goes on to demonstrate the rest of ISM’s dream.

“I really like the idea of creating an alternative to regular porn by just doing whatever you want and publishing it wherever you want. On the one hand it's on the net, so my pictures could go anywhere, but on the other hand I am confident about myself and my look. I really like my photos so there's no reason for me to be ashamed.”

"I have always been an outdoorsy person, so I wanted to incorporate this into my shoot. I had a hunt on Google maps for a really cool nearby location, caught the bus and then ended up having to do a mini hike over a massive mountain to get there... since I unfortunately got off a little, well, actually a lot, early."

"I never thought that by breaking my hand in Vegas, I would wind up doing a self shot nude photo shoot, but here I am. I admit that I found it pretty difficult, mainly because of my injured hand. I felt totally sexy, had an awesome time and felt like I could quite easily become the master of the kama sutra after bending into all of those positions!"

"I found the wedding dress in an op shop. I then hunted and gathered the rest of my outfit from around country Victoria for my shoot, to show the juxtaposition of being the virginal bride with the erotic expression of ISM."

"It was raining so I had to keep finding spots. It was really quite tricky and a little risky. I got muddy and dirty and it felt more natural. I'm sure my dirty feet show up in lots of photos. I feel more comfortable with my body - I've never taken a picture of my vagina before so now I know what it looks like!"

“Apres nous nous sentions de nous deguiser en princesse ou poupee. C'est plus facile d'etre a deux on a plus d'angles possibles et deux femmes nues c'est quand meme mieux qu'une! We especially liked when we were kissing each other, it was a very nice feeling, to share that with each other."

"I was wearing that jumper anyway and I love it - I loved the contrast of being all warm and naked at the same time. It was cold too! I had some hot water and a cup of coffee outside with me. This is a lot more personal than stuff I've done in the past - I could really experiment and be more open with these pictures, and more open with myself."

If you think Geena looks like she’s having a good time, it’s because she is. If she seems sleepy, she’s probably just having a rest between dances. Party animal doesn’t really cover it - Geena is the Party Queen, the Party President, and the Party Parliamentary all rolled into one hot babin’ package.

"My folio, I hope, is fresh, bright, enticing and beautiful. It's just me, lost between the sheets, wrapped in sunshine, and nothing else matters. It's the exploration of my skin, covered yet naked. The patterns of lace, draped over my body..."

From the HQ side of things, it’s easy to forget how actually intimate this whole self-portrait process really is. Those moments when the lens almost touches your skin, the held breaths as you hold the camera steady - ISM is an experience greater than the sum of its results.

"So I've been house sitting for a mansion over the summer and I happened to come across this beautiful dragon kite. At first, I didn't realise that it was a kite, so my mind raced with ways that I could wear it. When my friend pointed out the obvious, I decided that I could have so much more fun playing with it. The dragon was cheekier than I thought!"
