Taking objects out of their intended context is kind of par for the course around here, where it's all about gettin' nekkid. When you're up to that kind of behaviour in the kitchen, generally staid items like spoons and mugs are bound to experience life with an entirely new dimension.

There's something about warming up that is even more beautiful than the dance itself. The costume that is not a costume, practical fabric stretched warm and clinging over muscles still turning over as if in sleep. The dancer's feet moving in slow circles, like a careful ear tilted to the twang of acoustic strings being tuned to each other - the dawn of the dance, and the quiet anticipation of beauty. Grace, before the plunge.

"I finally caught a break in the smoking hot weather, so I decided to venture outdoors and explore nature. Before long, I was having fun, kissing the flowers and playing up to the camera. It all just came so naturally... what better way to spend my day off than frolicking around in my garden and cooling off (although I became pretty hot by the end of it, and it wasn't the weather)!"

"I actually took the shots on the balcony at my mother's retirement village. It was not secluded at all and it was really funny - at one stage I saw the venetian blind moving - so I guess someone saw but I think most people were just too shortsighted! I liked the thought that I might've given a few old folk some excitement. I tried to get my mum in on a few photos but to no avail."

Sheila, at this point we have to step back and hold our applause for a moment to note seriously: you are just really good at this whole shooting yourself business, aren't you? Picture after picture you're flawless, and after that groundbreaking hot tub event with you and all the other, well, yous... let's just say, you're definitely starting to stand out around here.

"I was bored in my room and get me naked pictures idea excited me much. My partner returned from work and did not care to come in and see me pulling those photos. It seemed very strange because I usually do not take pictures myself, but I told him I liked the idea and he threw me on the bed. I finished the photos and then threw me on the bed with him."

"My boyfriend's room is full of comics, manga poster, sketches, stuffed animals, game systems... I love that room, and there is ONE thing that makes me laugh... the old paper wall. Trucks everywhere! I really wanted to make a self-photoshoot in that room just because of the paper wall. The weather was stormy outside... my boyfriend was working on software at the same time and I was having fun next to him."

"I'm also a paperist, I make artwork out of paper. I liked the idea of the paper doll, the white chain. What draws me to it is the fragility of paper. Using baby powder also reflects the purity of the paper dolls, and it's just fun to play with, although it did blow into my eyes at one stage because it came out too quickly!"

"It's decided, we're going to Mexico! Let's plan our trip with flowers in our hair, maps, and books. It's easy to get distracted though when there's always lots of laughing, giggles and kisses to be had. It was fun to share the world that Momoko and I exist in with other people through pictures!" - Ivanka

Natasha's got a gorgeous body, but we're having trouble getting past these photos of her incredible face - her unbelievable smile has hooked us for good, promising a range of emotions which send the erotic fact of her nudity to sky-high levels of sexiness. That smile - this is why we come to work in the morning.

"I found a hat one day. It was outside of the second hand shop, abandoned just like waiting. I took it with me knowing already I'm gonna shoot with it. I didn't immediately used the hat I found, I started shooting outdoors in bird tower using other hats and some of my drawings in some pics. When I found that hat again it was squashed in my bag and looked so perfectly bohemian that I just had to take rest of my pics with that and two different kinds of stay-ups."

We're pretty sure that when Lary says shiny, she's meaning to say shy... but actually, we reckon she had it right the first time. She is shiny - effusive and effervescent, the kind of lady who inspires the people around her to grin for no reason. And she doesn't seem that shy either.. so Lary, from now on, you'll think of yourself as shiny as in sparkling, yes? Yes!

"I woke this morning with a nervous anticipation fluttering in my stomach. I got out of bed and decided not to shower. I wanted to show myself raw. I turned my camera on. The excitement was rising from deep inside me. I took a photo of my breast under my nightie. I wanted to start this slow and build up to my final reveal. Finding a comfortable spot to sit amongst the ferns, I started to slip out of my pink nightie. As I slipped my underwear off, a still came over me. I felt free. The true Isla_Rose was now awoken."

"Art is my passion. I see the body as a canvas and a tool for expression, so I used this shoot to feel and experience different textures on my own body... The soft lace floating on my skin, the cool liquid of the paint as it touched my body, the gentle and warm breeze blowing through my heavy white curtains, ripped down from my windows. A beautiful few days of shooting."

Sophi's folio moves through intriguing themes, and we could talk all day about the old-fashioned spotlights of the theatre, nude performances on stage and the sexualization of film nostalgia - but somehow we're feeling a little tongue-tied right now, so we're just going to sit back, and watch Sophi's magnificent show.
