"I completely lost track of time, and when the sun came through the clouds I began to enjoy the warmth of it and had an exceedingly better time. I found myself wanting to bring my body closer to the sun that was hitting the head of my bed so began to cling to the cast iron of my bed frame. It was most enjoyable when I began to become more acrobatic and test my body's abilities."

"For the majority of my life, I have been a ballet dancer and have lived the dancers lifestyle; the constant pressure of weight issues and following the strict dancers diet. Coming home from the office, I had the idea to explore the concept of rebelling against this and pushing the boundaries. Being a dancer, I like to stretch and bend my body into different shapes. While doing the I Shot Myself project, I felt a sense of freedom and empowerment, it was an exhilerating feeling."

The smile that blooms on Oriane's face as she pulls the bow against the strings of her violin says it all, but in case the message isn't clear enough, she explains herself with articulation so perfect and precise that the blood in our bodies can't decide whether to run to our brains or to our ... elsewheres. "I shot this folio in my warehouse apartment/loft. It's on the top floor of a commercial building and has windows on all sides, so it is always full of light. I love using the big open space for art projects, and I also love climbing out on the huge silver roof to take photos, paint, and dance around with friends. Shooting these pictures made me think of my college days, when my friends and I used to do nude photo shoots for our photography classes all the time."

Every so often, a few kilobytes worth of images slip into the ether, and end up lost in the depths of ISM's considerable archives. From a system POV, those kilobytes aren't much - but in reality, every folio represents one woman's valuable contribution to our cause, and losing one is a little tradgedy! "This shoot was rather nostalgic to do for ISM's 10th birthday as I'm an ISM veteran. I wasn't there right at the beginning but close enough, it is 9 years of erotic exhibitionism for me and ISM is where it all began. What an adventure it's been! I've loved every bit of it. Happy Birthday ISM."

"During this shoot, I revisited my childhood... I got to sit in puddles and play in the garden like a little garden nymph. The puddles felt surpisingly slimey, not how I remembered them at all! The soft and colourful ball necklace was a nice change from the rough plastic intertwining vine over my body. It was great to have my little pomeranian, Peanut, join in on the fun too!"

"I performed ISM over a week of different mini shoots due to living in close proximity with my otherwise conservative housemates. I felt a little cheeky creeping around with my pants around my ankles, in case of a shocked tea drinker in the kitchen or a shopper coming home with full bags. My outdoors shoot was my favourite I got up with the clouds and ended up rubbing most of my buttocks into the dirt, it was lovely to work with my tiny bit of concrete jungle."

"Happy birthday I Shot Myself! I went over to my good mate Strawberry's house and we celebrated with some cupcakes! After, we had some spare cupcakes, so I used them in my shoot! As you can see, I had a buttload of fun nomming cupcakes, playing with mirrors, and- having a blissful ISM-birthday-special orgasm! With a cherry on top!" - xxx Lilie

"My friend and I think that I Shot Myself is a really sexy idea. It was the best excuse to get my kit off in public places (away from the public eye, especially the kiddies) and get my booty soiled, literally (like earth, not feces). Plus, why would I pass up an opportunity to take a few cheeky photos of my junk?"

Oh, how we love a lady who knows who to ply her strings, especially when she employs her musical talents in the buff without a lick of embarrassment. Oriane's confident voice and new-age philosophies have us crowding around with eyes and ears peeled, inspired to live life as beautifully as Oriane herself.

"We get a lot of information from the media and stories on tv that being an older woman is like being ill, or unwanted, or disabled, like something is wrong with you just because the years pass. Well, the years pass and pass, and I just still don't feel like anything is wrong with me! I feel fit and strong and yes, dare I say, sexy. I am a woman, I am sensual, I am strong and sensitive, and joyful and good, so have a good look at me. Here I am."

"Faceva freddo, terribilmente freddo, pioveva oltretutto ma l'emozione mi scaldava! un amica mi ha aiutato dipingendo il mio corpo, era imbarazzata piu' di me ma dopo poco abbiamo iniziato a divertirci. Ridendo e' venuta con me in giardino, qui mi sono letteralmente rotolata nel verde, era la prima volta, il mio corpo nudo e bagnato si sfregava nella terra, mi sentivo un insieme! It was cold, terribly cold, plus it was raining, but the excitement warmed me. A friend helped me by painting my body. She was more embarrassed than me, but after a while we started to have fun. Laughing and following me into the garden, I rolled around in the green grass for the first time, my body naked and wet rubbing in the ground. I felt at one with everything!"
