"An einem schoenen Fruehlingsnachmittag hatte ich Lust auf meinen Balkon zu gehen. Genau ueber meinem Balkon steht dieser wundervolle Baum der im Fruehling all seine picksenden Fruechte fallen laesst, die wunderschoen aussehen. Ich holte also eins meiner Laken herraus und hing es auf dem Balkon auf und holte ausserdem noch einen Spiegel. Ich rekelte mich also auf dem Laken und machte schoene Fotos von mir. Versehendlich legte ich mich in meinem enthusiasmus auf einen der picksenden Dinger, das tat ziemlich weh! Ich machte wunderschoene nackte fotos von mir, bis es mir zu kalt wurde und ich aufraumte und den Nachmittag drinnen verbrachte."

"J'ai choisi la plage car c'est l'endroit ou je me sens le mieux, le plus libre et ou la nudite semble le plus naturel. L'odeur de l'eau salee, le sable qui effleure votre peau aussi sensuel qu'une caresse. Mon jardin est aussi l'endroit le plus approprie pour se promener nue laisser libre cours a son naturel et ou l'on peut aussi passer du bon temps avec son ami."

"Being sneaky really turns this shy gal on. Walking passed people through the park with just a nipple peeking out of my pretty striped dress was surprisingly thrilling! I hope people noticed, I think some of them did. It was an extra sunny day, making my red hair glow and my freckles pop out all over my face. I felt lovely and free. I felt happy, and I didn't care who saw me. If I didn't have plans later that day I would have stayed there naked until the sun went down."

"I shot myself by a river by an old nun convent and was naked in the grass as people jogged by. The swans came to say hello. I couldn't stop laughing at first! I really enjoyed myself. I feel liberated and more free with my body now!"

"At first I felt a bit nervous. I've never done anything like it before, and I wanted to look good and feel comfortable with the outcome. But anticipation and excitement took over a few pictures in - I started to feel comfortable, free, feminine and sexy. And somewhere there in the garden I found a piece of myself I never knew I had. I started fantasizing about making love in the grass. My naked body, the smell of flowers.. it excited me. Then the ants got to my ass, I tried to capture them in the shots but they bit me instead. Apparently being a grass godess doesn't come for free..!"

A slow undressing (did your heart stop too, when she unzips that jumpsuit?) is a perfect prelude to Sadi's song. Strumming her ukelele, lulling herself (and us) with that exquisitely throaty voice, singer-songwriter Sadi does away with the notion that pretty girls can only ever be muses. Who needs an audience, when singing for yourself gives you this much pleasure?

"SNOW LEOPARD! In the lounge room! A product of curiosity and a challenge that I gave to myself, to be photographed and take photos. I spent the day walking and draping myself all over my friend's quaint apartment. During this time her cat, Bella decided to play cat and mouse with me. I thought that I was the cat! Turns out that her claws reaching for my bare buttocks made for a jumpy girl. But, this girl had army men to protect her through her bush. Can you see what they found?"

"I was praying the neighbors didn’t see me, as in their old age they would have had a heart attack. I felt in my own world and braved a few shots outside my comfort zone. It was a bit scary to start off, with being completely naked as it was the first time I had done something like this, but once I got into the swing of things I really enjoyed myself and got a thrill out of nearly being caught by the neighbors."

"Through this shoot, I wanted to project and capture all of the elements that that I am; vibrant, colourful, creative and happy. I have recently fallen in love with my aeriel hoop... I feel like I can get in touch with my inner goddess when I am up there, flowing and floating like music. Flying free, like the free spirit that I am."

"Urban exploration - more like urban sexploration, amirite?! Cities are full of wondrous alleyways, little nooks and crannies that are so much fun to explore - sometimes a little uncomfortable, a tight squeeze, unexpected sights, smells, sounds, things to climb around on and get dirty in. Reminds me of something else. Go exploring, who knows what you may find! You might discover something you didn't expect to like." - James White

"I'm a sucker for punishment. The rope, the needles and being naked in the rain all added up to a bit of suffering on my part. I love being tied up, I love the feeling of the rope against my skin, but it made it bloody hard to take the photos. I was tied really tightly and there was no way to escape. The needles... it stung a bit when they went in, in a nice way. I had to make a mad dash from the kitchen table where I had the needles stuck in my chest and a bear hat on my head as my grandparents arrived. I just made it!"

"I found the shoot to be much more enjoyable than I thought it would be once I relaxed enough to get into and expand my creative mind to become more active. The positions I got myself into were quite interesting (did not know that I was still that flexible!) I had to do it all indoors due to the cold weather which was more challenging to get a variety of poses. I did enjoy the opportunity to expand my horizions during the shoot and to feel comfortable to display my naked body."

"This was my first shoot attempt for ISM. I tried again after this time and ended up turning my other shoots in first, as they were a result of me getting a bit of practice. But I thought it would be nice to show you all where I first started. I was very hesitant about getting naked outside, but it was such a beautiful day so I just thought, fuck it, I might as well do it right, and I really enjoyed myself. I had to let my housemates know though since all of their windows look out to where I was shooting... I didn't want them getting a shock at seeing me running around naked with a camera! By now, they're used to it."

"Doing I Shot Myself was awesome - I kept breaking into spontaneous giggles, and couldn't stop smiling (if you see me without a smile, that's my concentration face!) I share a room, so it was heaps of fun - I felt like I was getting away with something, and kept ducking under the bed to hide. I shot most of this set early in the morning, I was still in the baffled-sleepy state. I was trying to just have fun and be playful. I always think people take nudity way too seriously. I have always been so comfortable with my body and with being naked. I guess that was what I was trying to show in the photos."

"I had such a good time working with ISM to create this folio. I asked for this folio to be called 'element' because I feel like this was one of the first times I really felt at home 'in my element', in my own body. Usually I feel like I live in someone else's body. I feel like it's not really me. Going out to the beach by myself, taking these photos... well it was a really special moment for me. To feel like I was home in my body."
