"Somos muchos en mi casa, mis companyeros de piso sabian que estaba preparando un "proyecto", espere a que se fuera, me di una ducha bien caliente, porque hacia mucho frio esa manyana, me vesti, tome la camara y me desvesti. Hacia frio, pero me daba risa imaginarme las distintas poses que mi cuerpo iba tomando y ver como yo me iba relajando. Cuando tome unas cuantas descidi cambiar de look, tengo una tobillera que traje desde India, la coloque en el aro de mi nariz y empeze a jugar con un look mas 'oriental'."

"Initially I was quite nervous and I had to fight the urge not to look at the playback on the camera and delete the shots! Being both model AND photographer was challenging as I had to juggle a multitude of different poses, keep it varied and twist my arm (and occasionally foot) into strange new positions to get the right angle... I had the best fun with the paint outside in the rain. I have never felt paint on much of my skin except my hands before so it was a new sensation and with the rain it felt extra exciting."

"I always believed that I looked ugly in photos and always REFUSED to let anyone to take a photo of me, without sunglasses on. I had a little freak out initially when i started the project, but then I just found a comfortable personal space and got on with it. After about 1/2 an hr, I realised I was actually having FUN and ENJOYING the challenge. Whilst I was taking part in the project, I also came to terms with and an acceptance of sexual abuse and trauma and felt an element of healing in doing this project. "

"I took the photos in my bedroom. My room is at the front of the house with my window facing the front of the street so anyone walking by could have easily seen in (lucky passers-by!) I originally wanted to do it in my back yard but was a bit restricted because I have weird housemates who wouldn't understand and would probably get a bit judgmental. I borrowed my friends mirror to do this and almost dropped and smashed it several times whilst trying to hold it with my feet and toes. All in all it was nothing but a positive experience."

"I'm so excited to be on ISM. Since I decided to do it, I had to wait weeks to get the house to myself and I only had like 2 hours to do it before my parents came home. Well I won't lie and say I had some big high-art concept. I just had a handful of change and a bit of a cheeky idea. In the end that turned out to be more than enough and I really like my pictures."

Caught between a rock and her libido, Minni so eloquently sums up the complications of an open long distance relationship that hundreds of relationship advice book authors have just tossed their pens, snapped their manuscripts shut, and thrown up their hands in frustration. Have you all ever heard of sapiosexuality? A few of us here have that, and it's all we can do to keep from clawing through the screen in our attempts to sit at Minni's gorgeous feet, while she waxes rational about the state of her heart.

"Starting out inside made me brave! I gathered my courage and went out for a tumble in the old alley behind my house. Cuddling with the little weeds and pressing up against the red bricks I felt myself get eve more adventurous... and when I finished, I went exploring in other suburban nooks and crannies, in hopes of finding another wild chick like me."

"I've always had a fascination with the ocean as well as mythology, and therefore mermaids have been something I've always loved. With my current hair colour I've felt more like a mermaid myself and have been going through what I guess you could call a "mermaid phase", so I wanted to express that in this folio."

"We shot the first part in the country last spring. I liked to dressed up like a woman and see Nagore as a boy, it was very exciting. The second part was shot in the city, it was funny to discover ourselves through a magnifying glass, and kissing involved by soap bubbles and balloons. I enjoyed this shot very much." -olmo

"ISM a ete une experience tres enrichissante. Y penser me faisait redouter le moment ou je devrai pointer l'appareil vers mon corps nu. Finallement, en le faisant, tout a ete tres naturel. C'etait comme une sorte de strip tease pour moi-meme, sous l'oeil attentif de l'appareil. J'ai utilise ma petite robe jaune avec un zip sur le devant, tres pratique pour se deshabiller tout en prenant des photos ! Ensuite j'ai utilise le grand manteau pour creer un contraste entre un vetement d'exterieur et le fait d'etre nue dessous. Le miroir a ete un allie de taille pour faire des cadrages sympas. J'ai aime prendre en photo mon corps nu avec mon tattoo, c'est mon pere qui l'a fait et je suis tres fiere de le 'porter' avec tout ce au'il represente."

I worked at the front desk for an electronics company. In my last week there was a trade show and all the techs and sales people were there so I thought it would be a good time to do another shoot. They call this place "the white room" and I used to like looking at all the parts and things but I never had a good excuse to go in there. I dedicate this folio to Dave, Trav and mostly to Ben, who never knew I had a the hugest crush on him.

"La idea principal era poder utilizar elementos que me recordaran a mi hermoso Mexico, sus colores vivos, objetos cotidianos y una mexicana en las fotos :) Me encanta pasar tiempo en jardines y exteriores, con musica amena, leyendo y relajandome sobre el pasto y eso fue lo que trate de hacer en las tomas. Solamente disfrutar el momento y dejarme llevar por mi imaginacion."

"My lofty bedroom is my own little hideaway... the first rays of warming, beautiful morning sun come streaming in, slowly but surely edging me awake and into the world. I have everything there with me, as you can probably gather from the snippets that you've been shown from my pictures. I love being naked in my domain, it's so comfy and cosy up there that I can do whatever I want as I watch the world go by, silently down below."
