"Sitting an erotic art exhibition has its perks - a lovely quiet space filled with beautiful filth in every medium imaginable, and endless cups of tea. All sorts of interesting people wandered in and out of the gallery. Some stopped for a chat, and we shared stories, ideas and opinions. However, in the mean time, I was alone and admittedly ... very very bored. Inspired by the smut surrounding me, what better way to pass the time than making my own ? Knowing that someone could walk in and catch me was a bit of a thrill, (not that I would have been out of place amongst the art) and there were a few times I speedily slipped back into my clothes at the sound of footsteps up the stairs... Follow my footsteps around the gallery as I take you through some of my favourite works !"

"I had a lot of fun on this shoot, much more than I was expecting! I loved trying out new poses and angles that I hadn't done or thought about before. I have very big windows in the room that I did the shoot in and I wasn't sure if people from outside could see in and watch what I was doing, but once I forgot about that I had a lot of fun and I think it actually added to the experience. I really enjoyed this shoot and would definitely do it again if I have the chance."

"I shot the photos at the house of a girlfriend who I met in Byron Bay. Her housemates were open to me being naked around the house and didn't have a problem with it, which I loved. A couple of times they walked into the room while I was taking photos in an awkward position, they just laughed and thought it was great. After shooting myself around them, I really feel so much more comfortable with my body. Now if a boob slips out of my top or dress while dancing or doing yoga it's okay and we laugh about it. I had the best time and I'm glad I opened myself to the experience. I also don't have a problem with the photos being online because I think they're beautiful and through this experience I feel more beautiful and accepting of my body. I'm so happy!"

"I like to test boundaries and I love street art, so I thought, why not put these together? I was doing it by myself in different allies in quite busy streets so I often had to crouch down or hide behind a street bin. Not that I care if people see me, but a fine is not a pleasant thing to add to the day. One time a whole company passed by and two of them walked back and looked at me, crouched down with a camera in my hand, smiling and waving to them. I did it in 5-6 different places so I played a lot with colors and lights and trying to get the nearest busy street in the background in some of them."

"I really enjoyed this shoot as I was able to spend a lot of time out in nature. I love climbing trees and rolling around in the grass so to be able to document it (and do it nude) was so fun and liberating! Being in open sight was a little daunting at first, but I soon got into the swing of things and the passers by didn't seem to bother me. I didn't seem to bother them either which was a nice surprise! I found this shoot to be a great representation of my personality and excitement for life."

"Shooting for IShotMyself gave me the chance to indulge in my two favourite passtimes; being naked and being outdoors! Chasing the sun around the garden and back porch in the morning was a challenge, but luckily my housemate was on hand with plenty of home made iced coffee, sunscreen and words of encouragement. I'm proud of my body and what it can achieve and hope that this shows through in my photos. Thank you Feck for the wonderful opportunity to celebrate my body and show the world how far I have come in terms of accepting myself, my body and my sexuality."

"I've always had a weird relationship with my body. Even though it annoys me on most days, I've never really been motivated to change it. Before the shoot I was extremely confident, adamant even, about how easy it was going to be. I was alone in my apartment, the curtains open, the sun bursting in. I stood there in my kitchen! A strange sense of shame came over me. I was naked - but for some reason it felt as if I was naked for the first time. I held up the camera, took my first photo, and suddenly that confidence came back. I snapped picture after picture, and for the first time in years that strange relationship I had with my body was gone. I finally felt at peace with myself."

"It was a hot afternoon at a mate's place in a posh inner suburb. I was feeling sexy with my red lips so I started playing with my mate's Batman mask and high end boots. Thinking about the tall buildings surrounding me and feeling cheeky got me turned on. I loved the idea of someone possibly peeking at me doing the dirtiest things with the double-ended dildo and pegs."

"I stopped shaving at 17 or 18 years-old—I can’t quite remember. So it’s been over a decade now! When I went off to college I got involved in a campus feminist club where most of the girls were hairy. They were all very free and open and accepting of their bodies and their sexualities and they taught me the error of my hair-hating ways. It took some getting used to, but now I wouldn’t dream of shaving again, especially not my armpits! I prefer a life without razor-burn. Hairy girl power!"

"This set is very me: comfy, sparkly, dark and cute. I really like darker aesthetics and the lights help to set a very sultry mood. I am probably addicted to fairy lights, so it makes sense to get nude with them."

"I had the funniest shoot! I did it at my mate's sharehouse with heaps of other people around, which was so silly. Try being all sensual and smooth when heaps of people are pulling funny faces in the background. They were really cool about it though and would even try to sneak into some of the pictures, so it was even more of an opening experience for me."

Mona returns once again with more backyard adventures! In the third part of her video series, Mona has a few more tricks up her sleeve that involve juggling balls, dinosaur impressions and an acoustic guitar.

"Inizialmente mi sentivo in imbrarazzo perche' non ho mai fatto foto nuda, quindi ho provato a pensare semplicemente di essere vestita. poi pero' ho capito che dovevo semplicemente prendere confidenza con il mio corpo, non fingere di avere dei vestiti // Initially I felt embarrassed because I've never done nude photos, so I tried to think of just being dressed. But then, I knew I had to just get comfortable with my body. So, I no longer had to pretend to have clothes on."

"I had a lot of fun with the shoot. I didn't have many options for spaces where I could comfortably and privately take photos (except for in my room), but this limitation meant that I had to be creative with angles/props/poses. I learnt what angles looked best (and where I looked the most at ease), so I figured out how it was possible to capture the right image just with a handheld camera. By the end of the shoot, I didn't really want to stop! I was very comfortable with my body and I love the way the photos turned out. The whole experience was truly liberating."

"I had so much fun shooting myself! I went up to the mountains, walked deep into the bush with a huge mirror and speakers and listened to some Electro swing. I got the perfect spot! All was going well until after being there for and hour I felt some stinging pain on my bum. I take a look and 3 leeches are there, sucking on me butt! Safe to say I finished the rest of my shoot at home. You can probably see where those nasty blood sucking leeches got me on the bum!"
