"I shot some of these photos on acreage across from my home out in an open meadow, under a huge eucalyptus tree. Not only did I trudge through thistle, but I got chased by bees while butt naked, and I had sheep staring blankly at my naked body which was somewhat unsettling; nevertheless, it was incredible to finally experience my own nudity basking in warm afternoon sun, a cool breeze, completely alone. The rush from potentially being caught was also something I loved; there's just something so cheeky about being caught red handed. Watching the sun change positions in the sky, and how it would cast various shadows over the curves in my body, I'd never seen this beauty in myself before, and I really enjoyed taking my time and experimenting with different angles. The mirror was my best friend for sure. I relish in the opportunity to show myself for who I feel I am, mind, body, and soul. I hope it translates through my images of just how free I felt."

"Esta experiencia foi tao divertida e arriscada. Vivo com mais 6 pessoas sem privacidade nenhuma, tudo foi fotografado em areas comuns. Adorei sentir a adrenalina! Acho que um colega me viu na verdade, espero que tenha gostado! Haha. Quantas mais fotos tirava, mais me sentia sexy, divertida e livre. The more photos I took, the more I was able to feel sexy, fun and free. I also wanted to really show myself, simple, natural and in tune with the world. I just loved it. I felt flirty, sneaky and hot in every way (36 degree day, damn)."

"I really enjoyed doing this shoot. I did it in my room and bathroom so I eventually became super comfortable doing exposing poses. As I've never actually taken photos of myself naked before, I thought it would be a little difficult as I'm not really happy with my body. Although as I started taking some normal shots, I started feeling so much more comfortable taking the "bits showing" photos. I wish I had more confidence to have been able to go to an outdoor place to do the shoot, but I'm just really proud of myself that I gave it a go. It made me so much more comfortable and confident in my skin! I'm super happy I got the opportunity to be able to do this shoot."

"It's nice to be able to take a camera home and somewhat brag about yourself a bit, because when do we ever get permission to just talk about ourselves in this way? I felt like a 13 year old again, putting on music and dancing in front of the video camera instead of a mirror like I always do. I had my windows open for this shoot and every now and then someone would walk by and I'd pop down quickly haha."

"There was beautiful sunshine for the first day in months when I started my shoot. Peeling the layers off gave me butterflies and flutters in my heart. My yard was in the middle of a busy suburb and I knew I would be partially visible to the curious passerby. Exciting and frightening."

"I love shooting for ishotmyself. I feel so good during and after taking images of myself, knowing it'll pleasure someone else too. I changed my hair which completely altered how I look, including my skin tone. It's really exciting to capture so many different types of images and release creative and sensual vibes!"

"Tuve mi sesion de fotos en mi acogedora habitacion, habia dejado las cortinas abiertas y mis vecinos me vieron desnuda mientras corria por la habitacion para obtener lindas fotos. "I find that the most beautiful places can be the old discarded and forgotten in-between space next to creeks of drainage gullies. Plants and trees are allowed to grow a little wild and messy and maybe that's why I'm drawn to them; because I can be a bit wild and unkempt myself. In this shoot I specifically played with bright colour contrasts. It was also fun to play with interesting camera angles and flow with the creative process. I hope this shoot inspires everyone to explore the forgotten and have a little fun in the woods."

"I took my photos in my bedroom where I feel most comfortable. I enjoyed rolling around on my faux fur, using some props and generally feeling luxurious. I wish that photos could capture the scent of a scene as well, because I used some scented oils and perfumes to make myself feel more glamorous and I felt it really complemented the photos. Think: rum and raisin, cinnamon and vanilla! With that in mind, I know even without the camera I will spend a lot more time in my room nude now that I have become accustomed to it. Hope the neighbours don't mind."

"For this shoot I decided for the location to be outdoors and among as much nature as possible. I really enjoyed being outside and freely naked, as doing ISM has made me more comfortable in being an exhibitionist, so it made me feel more free than the shoot I completed indoors. I strongly wanted to incorporate plants in my shoot as I feel sexuality and nature go so well together. As it was a public space it felt a little risky and required me to be vigilant of passers by, the sounds of dogs barking in the park on the other side of the river was only distracting for the first few photos. A few people did walk past but very luckily it was in between photos and I was wearing my coat. I definitely enjoyed this shoot more as it was in such a tranquil place and was a great environment to spend the afternoon, and even more fun not being clothed."

"I actually disliked selfies for a really long time (found them a bit conceited, I guess?), but semi-recently it dawned on me that, holy shit, I would MUCH rather see a girl take 1000 pics of herself than hiding away or hating the way she looks. That's what we need - more women owning their shit, realizing their worth, pushing back against everything society's peddling us to tell us we're not good enough. Celebrate your body! Take up space! You're worthy, you're perfect just the way you look, you're enough. Take dat selfie, fuck the h8trz. Grrl you're rad!"

"It took quite some time to get the shots I wanted. First off, having time to yourself is a desire that often goes amiss! Second, when I finally had that precious time to myself, I felt myself taking time to warm up to the unveiling. I wanted the shoot to reflect that, the fact that slowly, flower-like, I felt myself blossom with every shot. A lot of self-love went into this and I wanted to bring myself back to a natural state, being in touch with your body and your surroundings."

"I am one of the most laid back girls you'll ever come across. I love the outdoors, love being at the beach but also appreciate the beauty of the snow. I'm quite content having my nose stuck in a book and drinking tea. I feel like those aspects of my personality are present in this shoot."
