"I have always seen the human body as art and so to create my own art with the beautiful body I have been given is truly a privilege. I did this shoot only days after moving into a new house where I felt at home pretty much straight away! The sun on my skin was most delicious while taking these photos. I felt so incredibly warm and comfortable as my natural self. Confident, sexy, silly, and carefree. Once I had completed the shoot I felt very proud and even kept looking for more photo opportunities after the fact. What an experience!"

"I shot myself at my local dog beach and it was extremely busy. The water is turquoise blue and it was a perfect sunny day, it was fun and I felt naughty, I had to keep putting my new red bikini back on and taking it off because families were walking past with their dogs and I went for a skinny-dip twice. It was exhilarating being naked in nature I just wish I had more privacy but my town is over-run with people nowadays so I take the chance to skinny dip whenever I can, so halfway through my shoot my housemate rocked up with the dogs so I had to wait until he left to finish the shoot."

"Participating in the project has been an amazing adventure, full of challenges and creativity. Celebrating a woman is an excellent initiative in a world where she is seen as an object. I really admire the concept of and the privilege of loving your own body. Doing the shoot has been an empowering experience, and it has given me more confidence. I now love my body, my curves and my personality even more. It has also awakened my inner curiosity, passion and freedom. More girls should do it, all shapes and sizes. Thank you for the opportunity."

"I shot myself in my apartment over several mornings to get good lighting. I hadn't done this kind of shoot in a while so I felt a bit rusty. I was thinking about past times I've had a lot fun with photographers and channeled that energy. The weather is exceptionally great right now in Berlin and I enjoyed having the windows open and enjoying the sunlight and birdsongs."

"I went to my favourite spot by the Yarra river for this shoot. It was a cold day but it oddly didn't affect me. I picked flowers around my neighbourhood to incorporate into the photos. A lover drove me to the spot so I was stealing kisses between shots. There were many insects to look out for, like huge purple ants and many wasps. In one shot I'm up in a tree. a wasp landed on my foot! I had to stay very still as to not make it grumpy. I then went for a swim. The cold shock felt like a reset. A couple people walked past and saw my nude body. They were just passing through though so it wasn't a big deal. I am so happy to do I Shot Myself in a place where I feel the closest to myself."

"This video is a little glimpse into my home and my little self care routine. I rarely make time to look after myself as far as grooming goes as my jobs always entitle me to be plain and practical. So here is me slogging away in the shower and moisturising my supple skin from head to toe. I forget how much of an effort it is to scrub down, wash hair, pluck stray hairs and moisturise. I was exhausted by the end of it but daaayum did my skin feel soft."

"I ended up all over the house but my favourite setting was on the grass outside. I love being naked in my backyard, it makes me feel so free. I'm lucky that I live in a share house with a bunch of girls and we all support each other's lack of clothes! I chose to shoot on a really beautiful sunny day and everything felt so bright and joyful. It feels so good to take pictures of myself knowing I love every inch of my body and I'm just so excited to share my cute photos with everyone."

"I had been shooting some racy stuff with my boyfriend in this paddock...we finished up, but the light was just so beautiful I felt like shooting this ISM too. Unfortunately I didn't realise how super fast the sun would set...even when it looks beautiful in my eyes it's so dark on the camera! I had a lot of fun trying to capture the beauty of the world and myself in this moment and experimenting with the flash. I hope you like it."

"I wanted to show how proud I am of my body in my twilight years and tell the world that age is no barrier. Being naked allowed my free spirit to roam, and the world was my oyster. Using a camera (rather than my phone) for the photo shoot made things so much easier, but balancing in the garden, sometimes being a contortionist and capturing angles of my body left me thinking - "What fun, but don't drop this expensive camera!" It felt slightly risque and naughty outside in the elements, but added to the fun aspect of the photo shoot. Overall a memorable experience."

"Here I am again on ISM, 4 years later! As many, I had some extra time for me this year and this is why this time, I shot myself over several months - you may notice the evolution of hair style! A few months ago, I moved to Berlin, where I shot most of the pictures. On a Sunday I decided to finish the shooting, but the breakdown of heaters in my flat that day made it particularly challenging! This winter is very cold, but the snow always makes me happy. I'm pretty sure my neighbours saw - lucky them."

"Wow! What an experience! Lately I have been feeling really invisible. It might sound strange for a tomboy with dreads and piercings to feel invisible but the city I'm currently in is a big place, and I have been a little lonely. I ended up shooting in my loungeroom, as I love lolling about on my mattress and being surrounded by my books and paintings. Shooting for ISM helped me to feel present, beautiful, sexy, and visible. It felt like coming out of my shell, and I hope you enjoy looking at these photos as much as I enjoyed taking them."

"I decided to shoot at my house. The interior and exterior is already quite creative and has a whole lot of character. I wanted to shoot on a day where there was that nice spring sunshine. This project helped me to strip down my inhibitions. Expressing myself in this raw, authentic nude state felt very empowering and uplifting. Getting creative with my body, I explored areas I'd never even seen before. I felt sexy, confident and empowered."

"Whilst on my road trip adventure, I specifically aim to stop in locations that are private and beautiful. Although I would say that the weather that most appeals to me is warm and humid, there's something that's very raw and human about a desert setting. I felt as though I was tapping into something very animalistic here. I did have to be careful though, there are cactus and jagged Jack Pines to watch for, but once you submerge yourself into this setting, the photos and sensations can come out quite beautifully. To explore my body as I explore the world and I hope you enjoy catching a glimpse into my exciting and adventurous life."

"I was hoping to find a park I could strip down in but unfortunately that proved difficult. I wanted to really play with the different aspects of my personality so of course it was going to end up super diverse and higgledy-piggledy, like myself, a patchwork of images it turned out to be. It left me feeling playful, happy and even a little sexy. I was surprised at myself at how at first I became quite self critical, then a few images made me giggle at myself, then after that, I relaxed, let go and from then on I started to love them all."

"I'm a very enthusiastic and vocal fan of Doctor Who so I decided to pay homage to this great show by including my handmade knitted TARDIS jumper, TARDIS clock, a mini TARDIS, a First Doctor replica ring, and the Fourth Doctor's scarf that my Mum made for my partner. I had the mirror leaning against my neighbour's fence and I almost had a heart attack several times when the wind picked up and wobbled it, threatening to fall on me. There was also what I would personally consider to be an unnecessary amount of bees on the passionfruit vine that hangs over the fence. At one point when I was bending over to adjust the rug, a bee landed on my butt, thankfully though it decided that I wasn't worth pollinating or stinging and promptly flew away."
