Yes.  That's what it means in the UK, though not what it means in the US, I understand.  What does it mean elsewhere in the English-speaking world?

That cracks me up. In the same vein, I think I will now call a girls privates her FRONT BUTT!

Hey, this is one reason why I don't drive and ride a bicycle. Daydreamers don't drive smile

Ride a motorbike for a while and you become acutely aware of how many car occupants (calling them drivers is too generous) are in a semi-trance state and don't see and be aware of you. Harley Davidson riders excuse their need for attention by saying "loud pipes save lives". Yes, the noise usually overcomes the car radio and inattention along with annoying everyone. Bicyclists just quietly annoy by ignoring road rules here.

BTW, billboards on the German Autobahn read: "Wer fahrt?" (Who's driving?). The man pictured behind the wheel has a handi (mobile) in one hand and coffee, cigarette, and steering wheel in the other. The US needs such an ad campaign.

The States doesn't have the culture of the English, Dutch, Chinese etc. on bicycles and riders here also face high risk. I prefer a motorbike where accelleration is an extra escape option.

Yes, life for some people is just one long sermon.

A Jewish friend went on a tour to Croatia from NYC. The other group on the charter flight were 50 families of Orthadox Jews with their hoards of kids. In many cases the parents went first class and left the kids to cause chaos in coach. The men on this overnight flight all got up around 4-5 AM, opened the window shades, and went through the overhead luggage bins, getting out their prayer vestments. They then spent the next hour, filling all the plane's asiles praying and doing their rapid bowing. No one slept through that and the Hungarian flight crew didn't insist they keep the isles clear for safety.

My friend overheard another woman in her group say: "It's enough to make you anti-semitic" and she had to agree. Too contraversial for open discussion in the US is that the "neo-cons(ervatives)" who got Bush it invade Iraq are Jewish and aimed for more US presence in the middle east to support Israel's agendas along with oil access.

Mormans aren't nearly so bad - just too damn squeeky clean and its a pain getting coffee, tea, or cola in Utah. Getting to challenge and toy with missionaries is the up side!

ob. "fanny" in the US is used by my relatives 50+ years old to mean the posterior (cleft); Ass, buns, and butt are most common now, I think. My parents stopped using "fanny" after we moved to London - funny that!
