"I shot myself in my apartment in which I live and thrive in on a lovely Winter's Sunday. I had heaps of fun expressing myself during this photoshoot and I got so into it that I completely lost track of time. It was my first time expressing myself in this way and I found it very interesting as a new avenue of creativity and self expression. I have many hobbies and interests, one being visual art so I was definitely tapping into that during the shoot: trying to be creative with angles and photography techniques. I've had a lot of fun modelling for other photoshoots before but have never been both the model and photographer myself. It was amazing! During the shoot I experimented with sipping on tea as I wanted to capture the enjoyment of me savouring the warm tea inside my apartment, sheltered from the cold winter air outside. I loved playing with my hair as a prop too as I normally wear it up but I feel like having it out for the shoot added an interesting visual element to the pictures."
