Horace Walpole, 4th Earl of Orford, considered Serendipity to be an \"accidental sagacity\". In a letter he described reading a fairy tale, \'called The Three Princes of Serendip, and as their highnesses travelled, they were always making discoveries, by accidents and sagacity, of things which they were not in quest of.\' Sometimes ISM can be like that, and you can discover things you weren\'t always in quest of.
