"So this morning before I began my shoot, I went into my Dad's house to see if he was there - he lives in a granny-flat in the backyard. He said "Yeah I'm here, is that all you wanted, you woke me up". I told him that I was going to be taking naked photos of myself, to which he replied "Sure, just let me know when you're done". About an hour later he calls out "Can I come out now?" Nope, not yet ... another 30 minutes go by "What about now? I feel like a prisoner in my own home!" Haha, Sorry Dad, yep, I'm done, you can come out now! Down the side of the house, it is a bit jungle-like, I was being eaten by mosquitoes, so I moved it into my bedroom. I didn't clean up the bedroom, but then I thought, "Well, this is the real me, mess and all". As I was taking photos, I was not 100% sure if I was capturing the right images, I tried to follow the rules of using light to my advantage, shooting a variety pics: close-up, full-frontal, pussy shots, various facial expressions, and lots of vulnerable bits of me that I normally wouldn't feel comfortable showing off - like fat rolls! But this project was fun and liberating."
