"I shot these pictures over the course of 3 mornings across various places in my temporary home. Mostly in the living room, straddling the couch praying my housemates wouldn't walk in. I really enjoyed being playful in my shoot, contorting my body into different shapes and thinking about obscure positions and angles I can put myself in. I went through all of the pictures I'd taken and showed my friend too, we laughed. I thought about being a woman, how I don't feel like much of one and how I'm not defined through a pair of tits and a fanny. I wish I could expose my chest and for no one to bat an eyelid, that's when I feel my most liberated. Whenever I've taken pictures of my body in the past, it's been heavily posed and curated to look sexy. I didn't feel sexy in these pictures, I just felt like me."
