Places, rooms, spots, nooks, crannies, or wide-open nature - no matter what its dimensions or characteristics, spaces work on us inevitably, and sometimes in ways we can\'t really predict. So when Doe chose this empty space to project her self-portrait on to, it was definitely intentional - and the effort has paid off in the stunning intimacy of Doe\'s folio, hardwood floors, heart locket, piercing gaze and all.
