"I planned on taking warm, sunlit self portraits over a couple of summer days. Living in Melbourne though, of course it stormed and rained for three days straight. Enjoy me, mostly cozy and warm inside (although I did attempt a wet little shoot in my garden in the rain). I was a little confronted by my imperfections and even found some new marks and scars, but I slowly began to fall in love with them along with the rest of my whole self throughout the few days of shooting. I feel like this was the first real time I have faced my physical insecurities and it was not easy, but it was a really refreshing experience and I learnt to enjoy this time with myself in this way."
