"Snuggling in bed on a cold morning, I felt inspired to do another ISM. After reluctantly getting out of my boyfriend's toasty bed, I wandered around his home to find the place with the best light. In the end, that turned out to be the balcony off his bedroom. Although it was freezing, the light was perfect and he kindly got me a rug so I didn't have to sit on the cold tiles. As I was doing my shoot, I would catch occasional glances of him sneaking a peek at me. This shoot symbolises new beginnings, a shedding if you like. The transition of intact stockings, that begin to show wear. The realisation that they no longer serve their purposes, signalling time to let them go and leave them in the past to reveal a bright and shiny new layer of myself."
