"Whilst doing my first shoot I felt slightly embarrassed and inhibited, which is also one of the reasons I chose to do it again. Growing up I learned to really hate my body and thought it was wrong or gross. In some of the photos I really wanted to show my body hair that I feel most ashamed of as a way to normalise it, hoping that it will help other people feel more comfortable with their body hair. I used to try and look skinnier, which I think is what I tried to do in my first shoot and I didn't do that this time. It was interesting to do another shoot after a couple of years and see how I had changed since then. I also did things that I thought were gross or that I thought other people would think were gross. I think I did that to try and go against the way I learned that I "should" be."
