"This shoot was different from my last experience as I was in my own back yard and had so many inspirations from the time I have spent out there reading my books and listening to music. I felt most inspired by the fairy elf in me who loves to crawl into the bushes and feel immersed in nature. I tried to incorporate all of our plants as well as the natural flowers and bushes into my shots as much as possible as I feel like they are a part of me. Pluto, our parrot, was also something I was really trying to bring into the shots, unfortunately he has a strong will and didn't stay still for long, so that was an adventure in itself and we had fun working together in a battle of wills and compromise."
