"I saw that it was a good day to hang my washing outside on the line, instead of putting it in the dryer like I usually do, but I didn't end up putting it all out. I'm a free baller when I'm home alone, so my instincts kinda took over. I had created the perfect scene, the lighting was generous and having a plain white sheet as a backdrop, it was too good of a day and location for me not to shoot myself naked. I have a few visual scars on my stomach from a surgery I got last year, which was meant to cure my chronic illness of endometriosis, but sadly it has not. Doing this shoot and being able to embrace my body and my scars has really helped me come to terms with the fact that this illness is going to affect me in everyday life and I can't let it stop me from doing normal every day things. I felt a lot more connected to myself by doing this, and I'm feeling a lot better with going into the next chapters of my life."
