I love that pirates can be whoever they want to be, and that the tough \"Argh, I want to kill things,\" is in stark contrast with the lace and women\'s jewelry that they usually don. I dressed as a pirate for six months for my year 12 studio, during which time I wore my first tailored jacket, made entirely by me, from a mountain of fabrics that I pillaged and plundered!\"
