"I paint generally as my escape from the world. Recently I've started just painting women's bodies, the breasts, hips and nipples. This time around I wanted to paint a vagina as bright and as lovely as I could. It proved difficult to photograph myself while painting as I kept getting caught up in the art. I really loved the sun on my skin when I was lying on my decking, the warmth of the sunlight's rays on my vagina where they don't normally reach. Only once during the shoot did I have someone walking their dog past my house while I was on the decking and I had to hide! But overall I loved being outdoors in the nude.
