"I had a very firm idea of what I wanted to do with this shoot. Then I realised the lighting in my bedroom was terrible and it became a matter of finding a middle ground between what I wanted to do and what I could do. I live with four other people, one of whom would have bombarded me with angry facebook messages had she caught me midway through shooting which made it somewhat difficult to get it happening. After a few days of sneaking around my backyard I got an afternoon to myself and everything flowed. Although it wasn't exactly what I had envisioned in the beginning I loved the end result. I feel like this has taught me a lot about utilizing what is available and accessible to me rather than stubbornly clinging to what I imagined the perfect outcome to be."
